Gary Bushrod is a Learning and Inclusion executive, consultant, creator and explorer.
With a Bachelor's in Business Management from Hampton University and a Master's in Education from George Mason University, he's navigated diverse career paths from finance to learning & development.
Gary's journey led him to leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co and Capital One, where he executed learning & development and inclusion initiatives. Moving into the tech and entertainment industry, Gary’s experience also includes serving as Global Head of Inclusive eXperiences & Technology at Amazon Music, and Global Director of Inclusion Strategy at Netflix, leading global efforts focused on embedding inclusive practices into people systems supported by Human Resources, while growing a diverse workforce through fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Outside of the office
Beyond his time in the corporate world, Gary is quite the creative. He was a talented coach and choreographer from 2009 - 2014, and led the Herndon High School Step Team (Herndon, VA) to become two-time national champions in 2011 and 2013. He writes for various travel publications and also records, edits, and produced his own YouTube channel.
Traveling is one of Gary's favorite pastimes. He’s traveled to countless bucket list destinations around the world, oftentimes solo, documenting his adventures on his travel & lifestyle blog, CatchGifUcan.com.
In the Summer of 2023, he was inducted as a member of the Recording Academy. He leads the charge in assuring the company is investing in underrepresented creator communities and organizations that support artists.
