Industry Professionals unite for New York University's annual Networking Night
INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS UNITE FOR NEW YORK UNIVERSITY'S ANNUAL NETWORKING NIGHT
Among the employer participants, Gary was joined by fellow Hampton University Alumni, Mia Hall and Rashad Drakeford.
In October 2016, Gary attended the Annual Networking Night for the NYU School of Professional Services. This was one of the Wasserman Center at The School of Professional Studies' most popular events of the semester. This event attracted over 30 organizations and 150 students across SPS program areas.
As an employer participant, Gary participated in a group discussion and provided feedback to NYU-SPS students on their professional pitch, the art of small talk, and ways to refine their networking skills in a reception format.
In addition to the prescribed speaking points and explanation of his own career progression and best practices, Gary volunteered himself as a resource to the students outside of the event, and has been able to mentor them as they prepare for their post-collegiate careers.
