Gary Bushrod: Hampton University Forty under 40 Society, 2018 Nominee

It would be an honor and privilege to be initiated as one of Hampton University's Forty under 40. If it weren't for our Home by the Sea, I wouldn't have been afforded the opportunities to accomplish so much as a young professional. In all I do, I keep my alma mater in the forefront of my thoughts and maintain that at all times I am an advocate for Hampton.  Below, is a summation of some of my accomplishments, but should any further information need to be provided, I'm happy to oblige.

Background

I am a learning professional, with more than 13 years of experience ranging from training and instructional design to project management and financial analysis.  I am a proud alum of Hampton University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (2004).

Upon graduating from Hampton University, I began my career in finance, and later moved into training. I was a Senior Instructional Designer and facilitator at Booz Allen Hamilton for six years. In 2012, I enrolled in the Curriculum & Instruction program at George Mason University, earning my Master of Science in Education in May 2014.

After moving to New York, I took on the role as Senior Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co, and now I serve as a Client Learning Manager for Capital One's Commercial Bank.
