Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Gary was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in the Spring of 2006.
He served as the Education Chair for the Omicron Lambda Alpha Chapter in Washington, DC, where he headed the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Club (DGC), a mentor program geared toward the social and community development of high school males of color.
He also served as the Director of Activities for Alpha Phi Alpha’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI), a program that seeks to equip high school students, primarily sophomores to seniors, with vital leadership skills.

In addition to heading DGC and LDI, Gary headed to chapter's "No Voter Left Behind" campaign, registering over 220 Washington, DC residents to vote, in preparation for the historic 2008 election. There are countless service programs that Alpha Phi Alpha puts on throughout the year.
